It is a wonderful and eclectic list. Billy Wilder’s Ace in the Hole is just one of the most prescient networking satires of the 1950s.   Superman made us feel a man could fly.   Field of Dreams is an all time weepie. And I am not gonna lie: I love   La Bamba, and watched it over and over again as a kid. (Even when the ending slightly disturbs me every single time.) Mostly I am just thankful Hans Gruber and John McClane will be kept for all eternity to ensure future generations can enjoy their greatness.
